HOPE HDWA is a charity devoted to Tackling Poverty & Social Inequality through Education, Training & Community Development.

HOPE HDWA has been working for over 5 years to improve the lives of impoverished and marginalised children and their families. Through our local project, House of Hope & Recycling Village, we are providing voluntary work and training opportunities which will improve the job prospects of local people while sowing a seed of harmony and unity in the surrounding communities. We aim to assist communities in the provision of services which support growth and development in the areas of community nutrition programs, youth development and employment. Day by day, HOPE HDWA is taking steps to repair today’s broken world and give hope to the present and upcoming generations for a brighter future.

Located at Greenhills Shopping Centre in East Kilbride the House of Hope recycling center was built from scratch for the community. Raising funds by trading recycled and reviving recycled goods we’ve been able to help divert over 1500 tonnes of discarded items from going to landfill, contributing greatly to East Kilbride’s environmental targets – even our sales counter and shelving was built from re-used materials! – and thanks to community support we’re still going strong!

Why not visit us today and pick up a bargain? We have a full range stock on sale from kitchen appliances to furniture, from books to fitness equipment and everything in between!
